I really do enjoy these books... I just wish the author would get a quick American proof-read and fact check on them. There are some phrase--said by American and other non-Australian characters--that are very clearly AU/NZ slang and phrases. And if anything, it seems like the Australians don't say enough of their slang! Also, you take the bar exam, not sit for it. American's don't "sit" for exams. And regarding the bar, you do not take it and find out right away if you pass or not... it's aA big thank you to G.J. For an ARC copy for review I can't say enough how much I loved this book. Truly magically beyond words. G.J.'s character's in the Wishes Series have become like an extended family, and I have become so attached to this wonderful world she has created. Once again, Australian young adult author GJ Walker-Smith has delivered. Her third and final installment of the Saving Wishes trilogy, Storm Shells. As always there is a story behind the title that gives us a further insight into 'La La Land'. The story continues Charli and Adam's tale with the introduction of several new characters and the return of old ones. I'm utterly speechless. This book gave me everything I was hoping for and more, that ending was just...wow! Couldn't have pictured it any other way. I was so lucky to receive an ARC of this beautiful book.GJ Walker -Smith is the bomb. Storm Shells was everything I could have wished for and more. It's taken me a good 15 hours after finishing to be able to even contemplate a review that will do it justice. This book surprised me. I totally expected Adam to chase Charli back to Piper's Cove. I did not expect it to go down the way it did. At times I wanted to strangle Adam and then turn around and strangle Charli for putting up with him. I know it is "true love," but she held on for her happy ending long after most people would have let go. She does live in La La Land, so I guess I understand. Of course I wanted them to work it out, but I don't know how I would have gotten past Adam's betrayal. Of
